Most People

Most people post when there is something significant to write about, I on the other hand post whenever I take pictures.
Yesterday Brian came home a little earlier than usual from work so after dinner we headed to the beach for a walk. It was low tide which means there is often debris left behind like sea shells, crabs or plant life. This time there was tons of seaweed; the big huge seaweed that looks like fat ugly snakes. Jackson understandably was frightened of it and wanted to be held each time we came near it.
Brian thought he needed to overcome his fears and therefore chased Jackson with the snake-like seaweed causing his son to scream and cry. Nice, huh?
And I of course took pictures just before I grabbed Jackson and pulled him to safety! Great parents, aren't we?
But this story has a happy ending, Jackson did eventually touch the seaweed and was rewarded with a plane ride from dad.

We walked about a half mile to the rocks to watch the surf crash as the sun set. It's a great pass time. With all the pictures we take we rarely get a family shot. So we asked a couple walking by to do the honors. Not too bad except for Jackson looking away.

I LOVE that you post when you take new pictures...it is the only way we get to see you guys!! Don't feel bad about the seaweed thing...we have a toy frog that Tate is scared to death of, and I love to chase him around the house with it, to see how fast he crawls, and how high he can scream!!! I know, I know...Mother of the year...right here!!!

How great to have the beach and water at your fingertips. Especially at Sunset with the family.

Well, I feel a little better that our kids weren't the only ones he torchured while they were little. Could that be why Jordan is afraid of fish? HMMmmmm....
