Oh, Addison

SO . . . here’s the story.

John, tells me to come deal with an “emergency”.  I can hear Addison crying in her room, but the door is shut.  I open the bedroom door to find Anne on her knees looking up at me with gobs of hair in her hands.  I saw the long strands of soft brown hair and knew exactly what had happened.  But I could not believe just how MUCH she got away with!  I covered my face in horror, anticipating the worst.  Her hair was all one length and getting so long passed her shoulders.  Uhg.  I had visions of scalp and spiked bangs.  Addison was laying on her bed bawling after Grammy caught her red-handed using her scissors from her make-up bag.  As I walked over to assess the damage, she was laying down holding a pillow over her face.  I had to prepare myself to not let her see my reaction of horror.  When she lowered the pillow, it actually wasn’t too bad.  She had cut all the hair that was covering her face (when it was not braided) as well as a chunk of hair over her right ear.  (Just think Pat Benetar and you’ll have the right idea).

What do ya do?  My girlfriend evened it out best she could and I can still pull part of it back in pigtails.  So, it could have been worse.  She still a cutie-patootie.  When I asked her why she did it, she said she wanted to look like Olivia and Jackson.  Glad we caught her when we did.
