Grammy & Grandpa are wanted by many, but we were lucky to have them again this year for Jackson’s birthday weekend. They arrived on Friday evening and after staying up way too late visiting, we headed to Bandon Saturday morning. December 3rd is a tough day in the Allen family as it is the anniversary of Scott’s passing away. This year marks the 5th year and it was no easier than the last. Brian had to work this weekend so we spent most the day without him, but Bandon always has a way of cheering us up. We did our usual routine of fish ‘n chips for lunch, shopping, ice cream and the beach. It was a very chilly day but so gorgeous with blue skies and sunshine. The kids loved having Grammy and Grandpa to dote on them and I appreciated the one-on-one adult-child ratio.
