The Sea was Raging

When we should have been packing . . . we headed to the coast to see the mammoth waves at Shore Acres. They were recorded at 32 feet, but the spray from the waves hitting the rocks were insane. If you've seen anything like this you know that pictures don't do it justice but I snapped away regardless. We were lucky to see a storm like this when we first moved here last year but our pictures show that these waves were even bigger this time. All I can say is the energy from the storm was electric; I was so energized by just being here. There is just nothing like it.

On the edge of the cliff is a front row seat to the show. If you look close you can see the little people under the tree which gives some perspective to the height of the spray.

Brian and Jackson were set up for a photo when in comes another crashing explosion of water. Brian could hear it along with all the "oos & ahhs" from the other onlookers, but Jackson couldn't resist to see what all the commotion was about.

Like Tommy and I told you, we could get some comfy chairs and a yummy blanket and sit there ALL day long together watching those waves.

Would you mind bringing us some hot chocolate between intermittent waves? Much Obliged!

Wow, those waves are amazing. I also love the pictures of all the salmon. I am so jealous. I can't remember the last time I have had fresh salmon.
