We headed up the Coos River to Morgan Creek to the fish hatchery to watch the salmon run. We got there a few hours after they started the process of catching the salmon and spawning them. (Not sure if that's the correct terminology but if you know as little as I do about fish then it should be just fine.) It was a very educational experience as the head honcho was more than happy to explain everything that was going on. I'll spare you the details but we learned a lot and saw even more.

I know NOTHING about fish so I don't get the whole Salmon run thing at all...but the pictures are great!!! Cant wait to see you in a few weeks.
Do I even want to ask what is in the red bag that the guy is showing to our little baby-girl? ;c)
