Yesterday I received a text at 8:00 am from a friend at Brian's work asking me to come in to the office at noon because they are throwing Brian a surprise baby shower! How fun is that? We were all waiting for Brian in the break room when he finally pulled himself away and came down stairs for lunch. He was completely taken off guard. He turned bright red when he realized what was going on but then quickly recovered, in true Brian fashion, with a joke. Jackson was very excited to visit his dad at work and I was thrilled to spend an hour opening baby gifts. Everyone was so generous and thoughtful and really went all out for us. We filled our entire trunk up with all the clothes and presents - this baby is going to be better dressed than the rest of our family put together.
I know I say it all the time, but I am really grateful for all the wonderful people we have met here in Coos. We have been treated like family by so many from the start! Thanks again.
