Exciting Developments!

I had my 36-week check-up this morning and was very surprised and excited to hear that my body is getting ready for delivery pretty soon. I haven't had many braxton hicks contractions, so I didn't think much progress was being made, but as I found out this morning, those aren't always necessary to get the ball rolling. I am 25% effaced and dilated to 3.5 already! Yeah for me! There is still no telling when the baby will come, but the doctor said there is a chance she'll arrive in the next two weeks! I guess I better get a bag ready.
