Our Whirlwind Weekend

We had a whirlwind weekend as our company came and left in less than 48 hours! Nevertheless, it was great to see Lesa and the kids and Jackson loved having Grammy and Grandpa here again. I was expecting rain all weekend, but of course you can't trust the forecast in Oregon. We had sunshine the whole time and loved every minute of it.
We were able to do a drive by tour of the Coos Bay coast stopping a few times to get out and take pictures, we took the kids crabbing in the morning, had lunch in Bandon and played on the beach then came home to enjoy a crab dinner and relax and visit before the day ended. I loved having time to visit with Lesa and catch up on all our old work chit chat and watch the kids play and laugh with Jackson. Brian and I were able to go to a company dinner Friday night and enjoy ourselves knowing that Jackson was in good hands with his Grammy. He didn't even fuss when we left, he was so happy to be with his grandparents, he just waved and said "Bye mom." That was it.

I hope they can come back next summer with Kira and stay for a few days. We miss them already.
