How Could I Forget?

I totally forgot to post these pictures along with the others.  So after our fun day out at the different beaches, I went home to give Jackson a nap and get ready for dinner.  The rest of the gang went back to Cape Arago to hike down to a little beach that has the best tide pools.

When everyone came home, they were so excited about all the sea creatures they found and the pictures they took there.  After several requests to get me to look at these pictures, they get me over to the computer.  (It's not like I didn't want to see them, but I've seen the tide pools a few times and have a real clear idea of what the star fish look like.  We see them all the time.) I happened to be standing next to Tommy  while he was pulling up the pictures on the computer and I couldn't help but to comment on how they all smelled like fish. . . . They just laughed.

So below is the Sunflower Sea Star they found.  Pretty cool actually - I've never seen one before.  P1020252

I was really impressed to see that Abbey was touching the 21-legged creature.  Blahhh!P1020254

Look at this girl!  She is fearless.P1020256

If you know Jordan, you know that this is pretty brave of him to get so close even for a picture.P1020260

What I wasn't expecting was the following pictures.

But THIS is what I found - Brian with the sucking creature on his head!  P1020264

As you know, Brian is a little follicle challenged on top of his head and he said he could feel the sea star sucking on him!  OMG - gross!!!

Here they are, the Allen men trying their hand at dreadlocks!  Look at the sea juice dripping onto Tommy's shirt.

Anyways, they all had a great time and hopefully have fun memories of the Oregon coast.

Brain and Heather, we had a wonderful time!!!!! You're at least a 6 or 7 star hotel now!! You really spoil all of us!! Wish we had seen Brian and Tommy with the starfish-I think John was glad I did the face-plant on the beach and had to help me back up the hill, or, for sure, he would have had that thing on his head!!! We miss our little Jackson so much and his little "bab"!!!!!! Thank you for everything!!! We love you guys so much!!! Grammy
