Day 2 w/ Our Guests

Our second day with Tommy, the kids and Grammy & Grandpa - we went to Bandon to check out the Cranberry Festival, the beach and eat Fish & Chips by the bay. The weather wasn't too cold, but it was very foggy on the beach. The Cranberry Festival included local vendors, food, music and a parade (which we didn't stay for). I bought some delicious BBQ sauce for dinner that night and Anne bought some of the famous kettle corn that we all snacked on.

Lunch was at our usual place where almost everyone ordered fish & chips. We headed to the beach afterwards for some traditional agate hunting and beach combing. The kids played until their hearts content in the waves and we all enjoyed watching them and exploring ourselves. Jackson was a little more adventurous this time with Dads help; he climbed on the rocks and even got wet in the ocean.

As if that were not enough for one day, after some R&R at home everyone headed back out to the coast to drop the crab cages and watch the sun set at Sunset Bay. We had a yummy BBQ dinner with all the trimmings and then Tommy & Brian feasted on crab for dessert.

It was a very full weekend that was filled with great memories! We can't wait for Tommy to come back with Nay next year! Love you all.
