I love my birthday and this year was no different. I started the morning with a light run, which ended on the beach. (Can't beat that.) Then Alli and I headed to the Bastendorff with the kids to meet a bunch of friends from church. Alli treated me to lunch from Bayside Bakery - so yummy. I had several visitors who dropped off fun gifts and wrapped up the day with some sweet treats from Janet and my kids singing "Happy Birthday" to me. Life is good. (Bri was on call all evening so we went to dinner later in the week.)
The kids made me a birthday sand-cake with candles. Pretty cute. Addison was having a hard day . . . we left after her 3rd melt down. It's not easy being two.
