Wednesday we rented sand boards for the boys and headed to Hall Lake. I dropped the girls off at a friend's house so I could give Jackson my full attention. He was a really good sport and the Vest boys were AWESOME at sand boarding! It was not raining but it was FREEZING! The only way to keep warm was to run up the dune and run like a mad woman back down. I definitely got in touch with my inner child - I haven't laughed at myself like that in a long time. It was quite the workout but not for the boys; they could hike that huge dune in no time and board down even faster. They also enjoyed running wildly down as well. Can't wait to go again in the summer.
