Gifts from the Middle East

Brian was so generous with his gifts when he returned.  He brought the kids several stuffed camels, purses, an Egyptian head dress, a dino book for Jackson and a few other goodies.  He brought me back 5 scarves from Israel, a swaddling blanket from Bethlehem, a jewelry box made from an olive tree, a painting of a pharaoh and his queen with our names in Egyptian on it that I'm getting framed.

But my all time two favorite gifts were the hand carved nativity scene from Bethlehem (made from an olive tree) and my beautiful Egyptian bracelet with loving symbols on it.  The eye means 'protect', the flowers mean 'love' and the last symbol represents 'eternal life'.  Translation: Protect and love eternally.  I wear it every day.

man that guy missed you and the kids. He showed videos of the kids everyday to anyone who he could. So cute.
He did good with your gifts huh!

Wow, those are absolutely beautiful! Brian is a good shopper. A very underrated trait in a man. :)
