The weather totally cleared up (and warmed up a little too), so off to the beach we went. We spent ALL afternoon at Bastendorff Beach with my parents and our friends the Herzogs. It was so nice to relax and watch the kids play and just enjoy the sunshine. The kids dug in the sand, searched for crabs and chased the waves. My mom chilled out with a sleepy baby, my dad walked the coast and took pictures and the rest of us gabbed. Love the ocean no matter what time of year it is.
We also checked out the sea lions and hung out at Cape Argo before another fabulous sea food dinner at High Tide in Charleston.
Addison decided to have a seat in the wet sand and take her boots off. The icy water was approaching quickly but she was not concerned about it in the least. Dad rushed to the rescue just in the nick of time and swooped her out of harms way.
