Jackson's second year of life was all about crabs, sea lions, whales and sharks. Not that he has discarded his love for sea life but he has definitely developed a new love as a 3 year old. He is ALL about dinosaurs. He knows all their names, sounds, physical characteristics and eating habits. He whispers to them when he plays and makes them 'roar' and stomp around. If he is not holding a dinosaur he is pretending to be one. His favorite seems to be T-Rex right now. He'll stomp around the house holding two fingers (claws) out and roaring loudly at anyone who will listen or acknowledge him.
When he first asked me to play with him I agreed and and he assigned me two dinos to play with. I started to have them talk to each other and introduce themselves (that's what I did with Barbie growing up) but he quickly corrected me. "Mom, just roar and walk. That's it." And so I learned that dinosaurs have a much less complicated life than those of the Barbie's. Who knew?

Don't you just love imagination play. Sky loves dinosaurs also. He loved seeing Jackson's collection.
Ohhh Jackson you just have to love him. I have been corrected for the wrong "roar". but indeed he loves his Dinos!
