Gold & Silver Falls

IMG_3888

Brian and I have been married just over 5 years now and each year we have lived somewhere different.  In fact this last 18 months is the longest we've been in one place since we've been married.  Whenever we move somewhere new we always try to explore the area and see as much as we can before the next adventure our lives bring.

This  Labor Day we headed up the Coos River to hike Gold & Silver Falls with the kids.  It was so lush and beautiful.  This is the third year I've lived in Oregon and I still can't believe how incredibly green and gorgeous it is here.  Seriously, it takes my breath away.  Here are some pictures of our little day hike.

I love all the moss covered rocks. Pretty falls.

On all recipes there's a blackberry peach pie that looked good. Just a yummy idea.
