I'm sure most of you are experiencing beautiful weather pretty regularly now, but it's still pretty intermittent here. Which means we take advantage when we can. Lucky for us one of our beautiful 65 degree days fell on a Saturday when Brian was off of work. Jackpot!
We were packed up and ON the trail by 9 am! We started our little family hike at Shore Acres and walked along the coast all the way to Simpson Reef and back; about 2.5 miles. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself. Jackson walked the first 1/2 mile or so then enjoyed the view from Brian's pack.
We ate lunch on a park bench watching the waves crash the rocks below. I was in heaven and could have stayed all day, but Brian is a mover and a shaker so off we went.

We took a little walk on our nearby trail tonight. We thought it was pretty cool...but nothing compared to yours...sure wish our led to the ocean as well.

Heather you look great! What an awesome place you live :) How heavy is Jackson? We're vacationing next month and I'm wondering if A is too heavy for the backpack...
What beautiful pictures!! The look on Jackson's face is priceless, with the 'ol fish flopping around!! I think I'm commenting on two blogs-the walk and the fishing!! I would walk every day with that scenery!! Love you!!!
