We (me and the kids) spent two weeks in Arizona in March to visit my family. The trip was a Valentine's Day gift from Brian. I had not been home since June of last year so I was due for a good long trip. The weather was perfect; not too hot with plenty of sunshine. We pretty much spent all our time with family and just hanging out, but we were able to see a few friends too and play outdoors a lot. I spent the first week with my mom in Phoenix and then the next week in Gilbert with Natalie. The following pics are from Phoenix.
It was so great to stay with my mom. I haven't done that since I was in college. I usually just stay with my sister when I come to visit, but since my mom in now retired and was able to spend all day with us, we took advantage. We went on walks, to the park, library for story time, out to eat, watched our shows, took naps, read, played in the backyard and shopped! It was fabulous!
My mom took over my "mommy" responsibilities and Jackson loved every minute of it. He preferred her to me most of the time and that is NOT an exaggeration. For some reason I don't have any pictures of my mom and I together, but I will on my next post.

Sitting here with the family trying to decide which picture we love the most. We all agree how much Jackson has grown! He's such the little man now.
